The Brutality of Reason Example

By Ironcross One-One

Slicing and dicing things into pieces small enough
to be fed to Liberals, Kooks and Anti-Americans.
When feeding Kooks and Anti-Americans

If you are the emotional liberal type, this mindspace will make you uncomfortable. If you think my logic or facts are faulty, lets discuss it. When your findings disagree with my findings, that is dialogue. But using rhetoric to disagree with science is demogoguery. No demogoguery! I usually refrain from insults, but occasionally, ignorance and liberal hypocrisy bring out the worst in me.

The "X" Factor

What happens in Iraq if Iran undergoes a massive pro-democracy shift?

Suddenly the dynamic in Iraq would look completely different. It would be a simpler battle against Al Qaeda and internal sectarian factions. It would eliminate the sophisticated Iranian weapons that currently frustrate the coalition force. If the revolution in Iran seeks US help, we can shift the Islamic perception of a "US war against Islam."

This is not the first time I've written of this. The President is not an idealogue, but he is not an idiot either. Could it be that he has been doggedly in pursuit of this goal as the key to Iraq? Overtly advertising that the coalition force is his strategic plan but his real strategy is to allow the natural march of freedom to secure strategic victory?

If this happens, G.W. Bush goes down in history next to Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, George Washington and Winston Churchill. And all the Democrats go down in history with Neville Chamberlain and Jimmah Cahter.

The X factor is the variable that will decide the outcome.

Hmmmmm. Things that make a thinkin' man wonder.

What I Just Learned

I finally learned how politics works.

When Laurie David and Sheryl Crow approached Karl Rove and insisted on being heard on the imaginary Man-Made Global Warming Crisis, Karl Rove was supposed to forget about the 54 million people that voted for President Bush and suddenly embrace the questionable science and Anti-American politics of the 52 million people who voted for Kerry. Wow! Why was he supposed to forget the conservative voters? Because they are rich and famous. They count more than the majority... even if they are wrong. Even if they are "stupid, don't know nuthin about physics, never had an original thought, liberals."

So let me make sure I've got this straight, Hillary Clinton will vote to confirm pro-life judges if we can find someone rich and famous to ask her to rethink her position.

  • Someone needs to go to one of their silly rallies and ask them why their opinion counts more than the vote of the electorate.
  • Someone needs to ask them if they really believe in representative government.
  • Someone needs to ask them if money and fame makes their voice more important than the majority.
  • I'd like to ask them what they think about the links between solar radiation particles and precipitation and the probability that precipitation is the centerpiece of the earth's cooling system.
  • Someone might ask them what percent of CO2 is manmade.
  • Someone might ask them why CO2 from China and India (exempt from Kyoto) is less damaging than CO2 from the US.
  • Someone might ask them to roll back their lifestyle to "average" before asking us to roll our's back to "undeveloped".
  • How about they give away all of their excess wealth to pay for planting trees?

I'll tell you why they won't give away their wealth... they want you to change your lifestyle so they won't have to change theirs.
That's what I just learned.

18 Ways To Be A Good Liberal

Submission forwarded to me by Jimmy Bentfinger
Subject: FW: 18 WAYS TO BE A GOOD LIBERAL

18 WAYS TO BE A GOOD LIBERAL

1. You have to be against capital punishment, but support abortion on demand.

2. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity.

3. You have to believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens are more of a threat than U.S. nuclear weapons technology in the hands of Iran, Chinese and North Korean communists.

4. You have to believe that there was no art before federal funding.

5. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by cyclical changes in the earth's climate and more affected by soccer moms driving SUV's.

6. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial, but being homosexual is natural.

7. You have to believe that the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of federal funding.

8. You have to believe that the same teacher who can't teach 4th-graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex.

9. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but PETA activists do.

10. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it.

11. You have to believe that Mel Gibson spent $25 million of his own money to make "The Passion of the Christ" for financial gain only.

12. You have to believe the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of the Constitution, while the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts of the Constitution.

13. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high.

14. You have to believe that Margaret Sanger, Susan Sarandon and Gloria Steinem are more important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, General Robert E. Lee, and Thomas Edison.

15. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial quotas and set-asides are not.

16. You have to believe that the only reason socialism hasn't worked anywhere it's been tried is because the right people haven't been in charge.

17. You have to believe that homosexual parades displaying drag queens and transvestites should be constitutionally protected, and manger scenes at Christmas should be illegal.

18. You have to believe that this message is a part of a vast, right-wing conspiracy.

GOD BLESS AMERICA! --- Oops, can't do that either!

Can I get a HooHah?

PS. Jim, sorry about the nickname, but I think that may stick.

Freakin' Lunatics

We're told by the left that warmongering Neo-Cons are the only obstacle to world peace. That if we would let the UN resolve all conflicts, the solutions are right in front of us through diplomacy and compromise. All we have to do is pay for it. All we need to do is sign on to Kyoto, dismantle our world leading economy and research and development advantage and then suddenly, everyone will love us.

Well maybe they actually believe that, but I doubt it. Do they actually have faith in an organization where Robert Mugabe, the Mullahs of Iran and Muammar Khadaffi have an equal vote with the nations of Finland, Norway, Austria or Switzerland? The number of tyrannies in the world has been on the decline for a long time, but we aren't there yet. Africa is still a corrupt cesspool. South America is mottled with success and failure. SW Asia festers. New Europe gives hope. Many of the southernmost former Soviet States struggle. Tyrants aren't interested in world peace. They're looking for their next victim. As long as the tyrants rule, I say we keep our advantage. If they want world peace, I say we let them have it on our terms.

Limited government delivers prosperity every time it's tried, yet the freakin lunatics think that government is the solution to every problem. How do you get them to understand that world government is not going to solve anything. Democracy and limited government are the only things that are going deliver world peace. Tell the world that we'll sign on to Kyoto when 100% of the world population is led by multi-party representative government.

That's our price and it's not negotiable.

Gay Hate Crime

Libel, Slander and Defamation of Character are all actionable under law. And I'm sick of all these Gay-Hate crimes. For some reason, the mainstream media amplifies the bellowing of This Old Queer. He rails on about all the hate focused on gays in this country. Sorry you old queen, but I don't see it. I see LGBT celebrated in film (Brokeback Mountain) on television (pick a show) and everywhere else in pop culture. There's an obvious reason for his bellowing though. To quote the ol' queen:
Don't any of you wonder why heterosexuals treat gays so brutally year after year after year, as your people take away our manhood, our womanhood, our personhood? Why, even as we die you don't leave us alone. What we can leave our surviving lovers is taxed far more punitively than what you leave your (legal) surviving spouses. Why do you do this? My lover will be unable to afford to live in the house we have made for each other over our lifetime together. This does not happen to you. Taxation without representation is what led to the Revolutionary War. Gay people have paid all the taxes you have. But you have equality, and we don't.
The reason for the dissonance is that he wants to twist lack of understanding and disapproval into hate. He is a typical leftist that is willing to lie to advance his agenda. The truth follows:

Virtually no one runs around all day thinking: "let's see how can I strike out a gay people today." But many of us resent having our culture hijacked by a bunch of anthropological deviates that want to shove their sexual preferences in our face and demand that we adapt our society to accomodate behaviors that make no sense from any scientific point of view.

By nature, all humans are suspicious of behaviors that run contrary to logic and experience. I completely understand why the mating urge is so strong in men. It's a genetic outcome of aggressive over passive. I understand why most women seek the protection of a male for herself and her offspring. It's a genetic predisposition to survival.

But what you label as hate is not hate. It's scientific inquiry. We don't understand what makes a man want to (use your imagination here) with another man. It runs contrary to everything we understand about genetic selection. Since we don't understand these behaviors that seem illogical and dangerous (think disease here), we're not in favor of throwing our support and government tax subsidies (which seem to be awfully important to you) behind them.

I rarely use the word hate. I cannot really even think of anyone that I hate. I have many liberals and other hypocrites that characterize behaviors that I disapprove of on a daily basis, but I don't hate them. You're far more likely to hear a stereotypical fag say: "I hate this, that, him, her, or them" that you are to hear me say such a thing. I think you are the one filled with hate. You have been fighting this losing battle for a losing cause. You have wasted your twisted little life in pursuits that escape the great purpose and now hate is the only thing you have left.

I hope you have the opportunity to read this. My life is magical. It always has been. I have spent it with a caliber of human beings that you've probably never been exposed to. I've flown through the night skies with giants. I have stumbled blindly through the darkness and the hand of God has never failed to save me from my own foolishness. My life is far better than I deserve and I can honestly acknowledge it without false humility. If your life has been less, I say you have no one but yourself to blame.

Oh, and as far as taxes paid? Since when do gays pay the same amount of taxes as non-gays. If gays are 3% of the population, they pay about 3% of the taxes. All across the country the rich pay the preponderance of taxes. They do not get the preponderance of benefits. That is why they are called transfers of wealth. What have taxes got to do with the cultural acceptance of suspiciously hazardous and illogical behaviors?

Now stop accusing me of hate. What you are and how you live are your fault - not mine.

Indict the Liberals!

The massacre in Virginia was senseless and preventable. I heard part of the convocation ceremony on the radio and one of the speakers lamented that they never imagined that such a horror could befall their campus. If that's the case, they need to be fired. If they could not have imagined it, they haven't been listening. Law enforcement and counter-terror experts have been shouting the alarm from the rooftops that our "gun free zone" schools" are easy pickings for folks that want to strike at us.

Note that a "gun law" did not keep the guns out.

One of the responsibilities of strategic leadership is to foresee and prevent disaster. "Gun laws" obviously didn't get the job done. Perhaps armed and trained professors would have been more effective.

Also it's an interesting side note that the shooter was disturbed over "rich kids and the debauchery in America." I wonder which "hate America first" professor helped him along to that point of view.

Also is readily apparent that the out-numbered shooter was not taken down in a rush of testosterone-fueled hyper-aggressive, macho, hairy-chested, steely-eyed, playground bullies. The same bunch of feminist inspired liberals conditioned that natural male response out of all those students.

The herd was attacked and there were no sheepdogs close enough to provide security. This is what happens.

You want to know whose to blame? Gun Control Activists, Anti-American educators and the Pansy Purveyors of Non-aggressive Psychobabble.

And Then There Were Thirty

Today is the 30 anniversary of the day I first took the Oath of Enlistment. It seems like a blur. All of the 50 States and a number of territories. Too many countries to list. Moonless night missions and bawdy escapades with trusted comrades. It was 30 years ago yesterday that my dad expressed his concern that I wasn't cut out for the conformity of a military life. He was right. I conformed as little as possible. I did it my way...every day...and with few regrets.

30 Years Ago tomorrow, I woke up to the sound of a trashcan kicked down the aisle of the barracks... Basic Training.

The Absolute Necessity of GAS

We live in a hydrocarbon fueled civilization. Its the fuel that runs the machines, powers the cars, spins the alternators that push electrons down the power lines. Gas makes things get done. It allows each person to be more productive.

Recently while discussing performance appraisals on some troops with a colleague, I commented that the particular troop was short on Give-A-Sh*t, AKA GAS. We both laughed and the term stuck. We started using it occasionally and it seems to be taking root.

Both the acronym and the underlying term are perfect.

If you don't have any GAS, you will never do anything, accomplish anything, or change anything. This is why it's so important to choose something you are passionate about as your life's work. Passion is GAS.

A lack of GAS is readily apparent to the trained eye. Unfortunately there's so much of it to be observed, we get ample opportunity to study it. I suspect a majority of workers suffer from it. They are barely motivated by the meager pay to do work they are not interested in. Meager work instead of eager work.

A sufficient amount of GAS is a glorious thing to behold. It give joy to all that behold it...except the competition. The competition hates to compete with a well fueled opponent. GAS manifests itself in courageous actions, service and sacrifice. It is also denoted in commitment, practice and ambition.

How are you described? Do you have any GAS?

The Genius of "Why"

I teach against blind obedience. I don't believe in it. I teach the following:
If you don't know why you do something, you can be tricked into doing anything.

If you know why I want things the way I want them, you'll be the agent that I can trust when I'm not there.
When you lead, tell your people to ask when they don't understand. If you always do that and your explanations are good, when there's no time to explain and you tell them that you'll need to explain it after the fact, they'll trust you and get it done.

Blind obedience gets you things like Nazism, Soviet Socialism and radical Islamism.

This assumes that you can explain why you want what you want. If you are the leader, you also must be the thinker. Your thinking must be thorough and defendable. You must have it boiled down and sliced and diced so that learning it is intuitive and persuasive. You must be articulate and inspiring.

When you can be that person, people will rally to action at your call. Even when they are tired or uncommitted they will take up the work. Peer pressure will become an instant ally instead of an omnipresent enemy. Your subordinate leaders will spend less time herding cats.

"Why" is important. "Why" is the root of all Science and Philosophy. The "why" is ultimately proven in the math; the physics, the chemisty, and the psychology; the calculus, the statistics, and the probabilities of action/reaction.

As John Mellencamp sang: "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything"

Before standing for something, be sure to know why you are investing in it
