The Brutality of Reason Example

By Ironcross One-One

Slicing and dicing things into pieces small enough

If you are the emotional liberal type, this mindspace will make you uncomfortable. If you think my logic or facts are faulty, lets discuss it. When your findings disagree with my findings, that is dialogue. But using rhetoric to disagree with science is demogoguery. No demogoguery! I usually refrain from insults, but occasionally, ignorance and liberal hypocrisy bring out the worst in me.

The Next Storm

The storm to regulate and marginalize the power of blogging is gathering. McCain and his Democrat buddies are scoping out our domain and trying to figure how to keep it from being used against them. Michele Malkin has captured the story and relevant links here.

I am forming plans for my "resistance". The resistance is political today, but if these bastards continue to impose restrictions on free of speech, eventually, the people will have to take back control of the government through violence. Our Founding Fathers specifically vested us with the right to keep and bear arms for this purpose.

I'm not going to tell you what to do about it. If you can't figure that out for yourself, you won't be any help to "the resistance". But do something political now and make preparations to stand and fight later.
"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."--Benjamin Franklin, US author, diplomat, inventor, physicist, politician, & printer (1706 - 1790)
Go rent "The Patriot" (w/ Mel Gibson) and see what happens during a war if you attempt to stand on the sidelines.

When the time comes, I don't think the military could effectively be used against the US population. Military leaders know what the Constitution says and would not be willing to give the orders. I also don't think the troops would stand for it. If we are going to have to lock horns and shed blood, it will be against the paramilitary jackboots that have the military technology without the full accountability and discipline of command structure. The pack of professionals that gave you the killings at the Branch Davidian compound at Waco and Ruby Ridge.

Maybe we can shut this down with letters and public outcry. Does the slogan "Repeal McCain-Feingold" carry the mail? If we can do that, the effort to regulate blogs will wither on the vine. I'm writing to my President, Senator and Congressman today.
