Howard Dean Hates Me...
Yanno?
I often hear the Donks throwing around the word "Hate." The refer to the Republicans as the Party of Hate. And the Republica Party of Newt Gingrich was trying to cut spending based on the Politics of Hate. There's just one problem with this: I rarely hear the word come out of a Republicans' mouth, and when it does, it's in the context of "we will not tolerate hate and bigotry."
Howard Dean Hates the Republicans. I do not hate the Democrats. I think the liberal wing of the party is whiny, shallow, and intellectually and morally bankrupt, but I do not hate them. I disapprove of specific behaviors. I don't hate anyone - I don't believe in it. I rarely use the word. I never use it to express my feelings. I don't like celery very much, but I don't hate it.
I admire the blue-collar working class Democrat of old that is part of the back-bone of America, but the party he or she believes in has been hijacked.
I think Barbra Streisand and Martin Sheen are nitwits. But I don't hate them. Michael Moore is a liar. But I don't hate him.
In George Orwell's 1984 - The ignorant masses of the socialist state must pour into the squares and streets for the "two minutes hate" to vent their anger at the mythical "Emmanuel Goldstein, enemy of the state".
In 2005, Howard Dean will lead the ignorant masses of the socialist party to vent their anger at a mythical party of hate that only exists in their minds. It will last until election 2006 and it will be known as the "Two Years Hate". It will do them no good.
The inspiration that comes from hate cannot overcome the inspiration that comes from love. And you can quote me on that.
