The Brutality of Reason Example

By Ironcross One-One

Slicing and dicing things into pieces small enough
to be fed to Liberals, Kooks and Anti-Americans.
When feeding Kooks and Anti-Americans
I suggest a potato gun.

If you are the emotional liberal type, this mindspace will make you uncomfortable. If you think my logic or facts are faulty, lets discuss it. When your findings disagree with my findings, that is dialogue. But using rhetoric to disagree with science is demogoguery. No demogoguery! I usually refrain from insults, but occasionally, ignorance and liberal hypocrisy bring out the worst in me.

Being in the Game

Ben Stein has a new book out.
How Successful People Win : Using Bunkhouse Logic to Get What You Want in Life.
I heard him talking about it on the radio and I'm going to recommend it before I've even read it. The punch quote? You can't win if you aren't at the table.

It's a book about using bunkhouse logic and the self-sufficient strength of the cowboy to get what you want in America. He's taking the time to tell the masses what the successful already know.

He's a humble self-effacing guy but he's right just about every time he opens his mouth. When a guy that's been as successful at as many things as Ben has done, wants to tell you what he knows about going after success, it's probably worth your time to listen to him.
