Behaviors of Success Pt III
Sometimes liberals and other victimists assert that the poor in America and elsewhere can't break out of poverty because the lack of resources stacks the system against them.
Oh yeah? How come "resource rich" Africa is in the economic toilet, and resource deprived Japan is one of the G7?
Could it have to do with a stable economic environment, the rule of law and behaviors of investment?
Success has little to do with what you start with and plenty to do with what you do with it. Write that down. I ought to be famous for saying it.
A hundred and fifty years ago the Japanese decided they were going to infuse western productivity into their culture. Even in light of the recent tough years, Japan overcame its shortage of material resources by developing it's intellectual and labor resource.
Don't stand around and complain about what you don't have. Do something with what you have.
