Freakin' Lunatics

We're told by the left that warmongering Neo-Cons are the only obstacle to world peace. That if we would let the UN resolve all conflicts, the solutions are right in front of us through diplomacy and compromise. All we have to do is pay for it. All we need to do is sign on to Kyoto, dismantle our world leading economy and research and development advantage and then suddenly, everyone will love us.

Well maybe they actually believe that, but I doubt it. Do they actually have faith in an organization where Robert Mugabe, the Mullahs of Iran and Muammar Khadaffi have an equal vote with the nations of Finland, Norway, Austria or Switzerland? The number of tyrannies in the world has been on the decline for a long time, but we aren't there yet. Africa is still a corrupt cesspool. South America is mottled with success and failure. SW Asia festers. New Europe gives hope. Many of the southernmost former Soviet States struggle. Tyrants aren't interested in world peace. They're looking for their next victim. As long as the tyrants rule, I say we keep our advantage. If they want world peace, I say we let them have it on our terms.

Limited government delivers prosperity every time it's tried, yet the freakin lunatics think that government is the solution to every problem. How do you get them to understand that world government is not going to solve anything. Democracy and limited government are the only things that are going deliver world peace. Tell the world that we'll sign on to Kyoto when 100% of the world population is led by multi-party representative government.

That's our price and it's not negotiable.
