I love hard people. People with exacting standards. People that are willing to rip up convention and do the work to make things better. People that are willing to say: "I'm smart enough to do it better" and then roll up their sleeves and prove it.
As opposed to the whiners.
Could Social Security or the Tax Code really be much worse? I don't think so. I say we let the president take a shot. Call up your senator and congressperson and work with the President to improve the system. Not to cave on values, but to do something to improve it besides shifting the burden from those who don't produce to those who do.
You can say what you like about Dubya, but he's hard as nails and he's got thick skin. And he don't back away from a tough job.
That's about all I have to say about that.

This makes a lot of sense. No matter how rotten the economy gets here in the US, there are always going to be ways to make some money and keep one's self afloat.
